We leave Matejuška harbour at dawn. Ten hours later, you'll have crossed the Split Channel, passed through the most luminous cave in the Mediterranean and swum in waters that don't appear in any mass-market guidebook.
The Blue Cave (Modra špilja) on the island of Biševo is one of the few natural phenomena in the Mediterranean truly worth the journey. Between 11:00 and 13:00, when the sun is high, its rays enter through an underwater opening and reflect off the limestone seabed: the water turns electric blue and everything inside is lit from below.
But the cave is only the beginning. The tour continues through five islands that together reveal the Adriatic almost nobody sees: the secret cove of Stiniva on Vis, the turquoise lagoon of Budikovac, the Pakleni archipelago and, finally, Hvar — the best-known island — where we stop to eat and head back in the afternoon light.
We operate with a local English-speaking crew and, after you book, we send you a detailed PDF guide with a full narration of the cave and every stop, so you don't miss a thing. Mario helps you personally via WhatsApp before and after the tour.

A note about Komiža: on arrival at Biševo, the skipper collects a queue number to enter the Blue Cave. If there's a queue and we have to wait, we use that time to visit this little fishing village; if entry is quick, we don't stop. We also call at Komiža on days when sea conditions keep the cave closed. That's why no operator can guarantee this stop 100%.
Our fleet includes 4 types of boat: Enzo, Colnago, Felix and Aliscaf. All are fibreglassboats with very similar features and capacity for up to 12 passengers plus crew.
Unlike the inflatable RIBs used by other companies — smaller and uncomfortable for a full day at sea — our boats offer more space, better stability and a noticeably more comfortable ride.
We can't confirm which of these four models you'll be on until the day of departure, as we assign boats according to occupancy and fleet logistics.
Boarding at Matejuška harbour. Welcome from the crew, safety briefing and we set sail for Biševo. A crossing of around 1h15min across open sea.
Arrival at Biševo and transfer to a small local boat that enters the cave (entry 12-24€/person not included, depending on season). Inside, sunlight streams through an underwater opening and casts a phosphorescent blue across the water.
One of the most photographed beaches in Croatia: a narrow cove wedged between two sheer rock walls. In high season (July and August) the visit is a panoramic view from the boat: the cove fills up with boats and swimmers and it isn't safe to manoeuvre or anchor amid all the bustle — we admire and photograph it from the sea. The rest of the season, conditions permitting, we stop for snorkelling and a swim in its clear water.
A small islet off Vis with a shallow, turquoise inner lagoon. Free time to swim and eat (beach bar, not included).
A chain of islets with hidden coves and emerald waters. Snorkelling and swimming in spots you can't see from land.
Stop in Hvar Old Town for a coffee or ice cream and a stroll around the harbour.
We set sail for home. Arrival at Matejuška harbour around 18:00 — sometimes a little earlier, sometimes a little later.
The order and timing of the itinerary may vary depending on Adriatic weather conditions and the waiting time at the Blue Cave entrance (Biševo island). The skipper will adjust the route to make the most of the experience and the best conditions of the day.
We only charge a deposit in advance of 20 €/person to secure your spot. The balance (100 €/person) is paid on the day of the tour, in cash or via Revolut. That way, if the trip has to be cancelled due to bad weather, getting your money back is immediate.
Up to 24 h before the tour: full refund of the deposit.
If we cancel due to sea conditions or the cave being closed: 100% refund or a free date change.
You pay the remaining 100 €/person on the day of the tour, in cash (EUR) or via Revolut.
We ended our holiday with this tour and it was the perfect finale. The Blue Cave first thing, with hardly any tourists inside — the reflections on the water are stunning. The skipper knew exactly where to stop so we could enjoy the best coves.
We booked with Mario on WhatsApp and from minute one everything was perfectly explained. The tour itself was spectacular, especially Stiniva and the green lagoon at Budikovac. We'd come back without a second thought.
A 10/10 day. The speedboat is very fast but safe, and the skipper drives brilliantly. The Blue Cave is an incredible place; you have to duck to get in, but it's 100% worth it. Recommended for couples and families alike.
We were 4 friends and had a great time. Music on board, stops in paradise-like spots, crystal-clear water. The Blue Cave alone justifies the trip. The PDF guide they send via WhatsApp is really well done too.
The best part of our trip to Croatia. We had our own snorkels but they lent us theirs too. The hidden beaches are amazing and Hvar at sunset is a dream. Mario was super attentive on WhatsApp for any questions before and during.
With young children (7 and 9) and everything was perfect. Very patient crew, stops adapted to us, calm water. Getting into the Blue Cave is the icing on the cake. We recommend bringing a cap and extra water as some stretches have no shade.
A very well organised tour. The meeting point at Matejuška harbour is easy to find. We left on time and the whole day flowed smoothly. The Pakleni Islands really surprised us. Better than any of the big tours the agencies offer.
I booked it on a recommendation and it didn't disappoint. Paying the deposit on the website was easy, and the rest in cash on the day was no problem. The boat was fast and comfortable, and the stops varied: cave, island, lagoon, restaurant on Vis and finishing in Hvar.
We loved it. The snorkelling stop at the Blue Lagoon is incredible, fish everywhere. The Blue Cave is smaller than we expected, but the blue is real and very intense. We came back exhausted but very happy.
We booked at very short notice and they still had spots. Mario replied on WhatsApp straight away. The tour itself was exactly as promised: 10 hours, 5 islands, Blue Cave included (entry 24€ extra). Recommended.
A perfect day. We left at 8 and got back around 6. The speed of the boat makes the hops between islands feel short. Vis was my favourite, Stiniva Beach is stunning. Lunch at a local beach bar was very good.
We came before the extreme heat and it was the right call. Perfect water for swimming, small crowds, everything more relaxed. Flawless organisation, very clear communication beforehand, and the crew always friendly. Good price for what you get.
We'd wanted to do this for years and finally went for it. Worth every euro. The Blue Cave just like in the photos, comfortable speedboat, plenty of stops. The only downside: the trip back feels a bit long, but that's understandable given the distance.
Early in the season and even more magical. There were hardly any boats at the Blue Cave; we went in as a small group and could enjoy it in peace. The water was a bit cold for my liking but bearable. Highly recommended at the end of May.
The Blue Cave tour from Split was absolutely stunning! The play of sunlight creating that ethereal blue glow inside the cave was something I'd never seen before.
The tour is fantastic, with incredible scenery and crystal-clear waters. Highly recommended! Don't stress about finding a guide who speaks your language. It's a boat trip — it's all about swimming, snorkelling, hopping between islands, sunbathing... there isn't much talking or explaining.
We loved the organisation and the professionalism of the team. The islands are paradise! We enjoyed every place we visited, especially the Blue Cave. A natural gem! From the Blue Cave to Hvar, everything was stunning. An experience we'd repeat.
Everything was well coordinated and the stops were stunning. A day full of beauty. My kids enjoyed every minute, especially swimming at the beaches. Highly recommended for families.

Mario, the Croatian organiser, was very helpful and always available on WhatsApp for any questions. The tour was wonderful, with incredible places and flawless organisation. Highly recommended!
Mario helped us a lot from booking right through to the end of the trip, always available on WhatsApp. The tour was perfect, the islands beautiful and the snorkelling incredible. Highly recommended!
Every island had its own special charm. The Blue Cave is a true natural treasure. And the snorkelling at the Blue Lagoon was incredible. The water was so clear and the marine life so diverse. Ideal for sea lovers.
Beautiful scenery and crystal-clear water. Recommended!
A perfect day in Croatia. The Blue Cave is stunning and the beaches are spectacular. A must for any traveller. The Pakleni Islands were a very pleasant surprise.

The Blue Cave is stunning. Unforgettable!
From the Blue Cave to Hvar, everything was stunning. An experience we'd repeat without hesitation. Highly recommended.
Mario was in touch with us the whole time via WhatsApp, which made the experience much easier and more enjoyable. The tour was fantastic, with beautiful, well-organised stops.
Thanks to Mario, who helped us via WhatsApp, the tour went without a hitch. The stops were stunning and Stiniva Beach was my favourite. Highly recommended.
An incredible speedboat trip to the most beautiful corners of 5 Croatian islands in the Adriatic. The team at this company is brilliant, from the guide and the driver to the online WhatsApp support. They also provide their passengers with snorkelling gear.
The 5 islands tour including the Blue Cave was spectacular!!! The Adriatic Sea is gorgeous!!! Mía and Spiro were very nice too!!! Get ready for the high-speed boat!!!! People with heart problems, mobility issues or a fear of speed should give it a miss!!!!
An excellent way to see and feel the wonders of the islands in Croatia. Excellent boat, great music and an incredible guide, Steve. We were a mixed group of adults, teenagers and children and we all made the most of the day. Spectacular places, turquoise-blue waters
We had a really good tour with Ivo! He took us to the best spots on the 5 islands and was the friendliest, coolest guide ever. 10/10 would recommend going on this particular tour!
As soon as we got on the boat we thought it was even better than a fairground ride. The waves bounce you around and we couldn't stop laughing. The Blue Cave is amazing and you can see jellyfish inside — in short, one of the things you can't miss if you go to Croatia. My son nearly cried
We decided to wait for a sunny day to do it. Because of the sea we couldn't get into the cave (there were some waves and for safety they don't let you in, which I think is fair), but it was still worth it; the boat driver and the blonde guide, who was really lovely, were very friendly and very ni
We booked the Blue Cave tour with Mario and had a wonderful day. The staff were very friendly and the experience was unforgettable!
We had a wonderful, unforgettable day. We felt very well looked after throughout the trip. We recommend it!
We had a great time on the Blue Cave tour from Split. We booked with Mario, who was very kind and helpful, and it was a perfect day to be out on the water. I highly recommend this activity when visiting Split and would love to do it again one day.
This tour is definitely worth doing. The skipper and the hostess were very welcoming and made us feel comfortable. It was a great experience.
Without a doubt, the best thing we could have done was choose this tour — specifically the Blue Cave and 5 islands. It was so much fun and we saw some really cool things, from the Blue Cave, which is spectacular, to beaches that left us open-mouthed. I'd do it again with
We did the 5 islands and Blue Cave tour. This is definitely one of the best tours you can do in Croatia. I don't think I can do justice to how spectacular it all is… every corner is as beautiful as the last. We went by speedboat, with music
The tour was very good. It lasted all day, taking in 5 islands and the Blue Cave, which is even prettier than the grotto in Capri. The tour was well organised and the whole trip was very pleasant.
I've done lots of tours all over the world, but this was without doubt the best one I've ever had! The Blue Cave was definitely the highlight of the trip! The crew and the captain were very helpful and friendly. Plus our speedboat was really fast, so we saved time and had more
We're going to Croatia in August and have just booked the Blue Cave and 5 islands tour because of the good reviews and their prices. So far my rating is excellent.
A brilliant day. As well as enjoying the wonderful islands, we had a fantastic time with good music and a great vibe. Bea and Ivan were very good hosts. Recommended for anyone who wants to spend a different kind of day, enjoy the turquoise water and see the islands.
We did the tour on 8 August. Overall it was very good, punctual and without any problems. Although I was disappointed that they didn't give us snorkels, only masks (when the tour description specifies "masks and snorkels"). Nor did we enjoy
We've just done the tour and haven't stopped laughing. The speedboat crossing is a unique experience, and if you know how to enjoy it, it's sensational. Superb scenery, full of surprises and charm. Our guide, Petar, was very attentive, always helping us and giving really good

We took a speedboat tour with Ivan and Petra to 5 islands from Split. It was amazing. The boat ride was incredible and full of fun. Ivan had a great music collection on board, which made it even better. Both Ivan and Petra had immense knowledge of the islands and
Vana and Ivan were the best guides and without them the trip wouldn't have been the same. The speedboat experience was one of the best of our lives, so much fun, and the scenery was spectacular. The Blue Cave was spectacular. Honestly, I recommend this tour 100%, it was the best
An unforgettable, fun speedboat tour around several Adriatic islands. Although it lasts 10 hours, it flies by. Our guides, Bárbara and Tony, were really friendly and gave us directions and information about everything at every moment. There's time for sightseeing, for relaxing and for
We went on the tour today and had a brilliant time! The guides were very attentive. We visited the Blue Cave first (I recommend being on time for boarding, because the later you reach the cave, the longer you have to wait), then we w

A 10-hour tour that flies by!! Because you're constantly seeing things and the guides make it really, really enjoyable. After an initial 1.5-hour leg on the speedboat (which can feel a bit long, but it's fun with the bumps and the speed) you start a series of stops at
We've just got back from the Blue Cave tour from Split. It was a perfect sunny day for visiting the beaches and caves on Vis, Biševo, the Pakleni Islands and Hvar. I highly recommend the tour, very well organised; they picked us up at the Radisson Blu hotel and took us
A really lively tour. Ivan is great fun and shows you incredible places; few people on the tour and a comfortable, fast boat with a cool box to keep things in
Beautiful scenery, crystal-clear water and flawless organisation. The Blue Cave and the Blue Lagoon were my favourites. Wonderful!
Postcard scenery and turquoise water. Not to be missed.

Entry depends on sea conditions: if the waves are high, the authorities close the cave for safety and there's nothing we can do. In that case you don't pay the entry fee (the only amount paid there) and the tour carries on as normal: all the other stops on the itinerary are still visited. As this isn't a cancellation on our part, no refund or date change applies.
Between 11:00 and 13:00, when the sun is high. Our itinerary is designed to reach the cave within that window.
You pay only the 15 €/person deposit online via Stripe (card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Revolut Pay). The balance (100 €/person) is paid directly to the skipper on the day of the tour, in cash (EUR) or via Revolut.
The crew on the group boat are local Croatians and speak English. So you don't miss a thing, we email you a PDF guide with the full narration of the cave and every stop. Mario also looks after you personally via WhatsApp before and after the tour. If you'd like a dedicated guide on board, we can arrange a private tour for you.
If the skipper cancels due to sea conditions, we refund 100% of your deposit or change the date at no cost. You take on no weather risk at all.
Yes, up to 24 h before the tour we refund your deposit in full. After that, the deposit is non-refundable, but as we only charge 15 €/person online, the cost of a late cancellation is very low.
A maximum of 12 people. It's a small group, ideal for everyone to enjoy each stop without feeling crowded.
Swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, cap, sunglasses, extra water and some cash for the cave entry and lunch. A waterproof camera/phone if you have one.
Matejuška harbour, right in the centre of Split. We send you the exact GPS location via WhatsApp 24-48 h beforehand.
We operate RIB-style speedboats — the Mercan 35, the Enzo 34 or the Colnago — all with capacity for 12 passengers plus crew. The boat assigned may vary depending on the date and the group.
It depends on the day's conditions. On arrival at the Blue Cave, the skipper collects a queue number at the Biševo ticket office: if there's a queue and we have to wait, we use that time to visit Komiža; if the queue is short, we wait for our turn and in that case we don't stop at Komiža. We also visit Komiža when the cave is closed due to sea conditions (the sea rising just half a metre is enough to make entry impossible). That's why no operator can guarantee the Komiža stop 100%.
With GetYourGuide, Viator or TripAdvisor you book through a platform, but the people who take you out are a local Croatian operator. If something changes, you end up opening support tickets that take ages. With us, everything is sorted with a single WhatsApp — directly with the people who run the tour.
