Half a day of rafting through the Cetina River canyon: about 10 km of descent with fun rapids, caves, waterfalls and spectacular scenery. Suitable for beginners from age 6.
The Cetina River is one of the best-kept secrets of the Dalmatian coast: a deep canyon with rock walls, Mediterranean vegetation and emerald water. The rafting covers about 10 km with fun but manageable rapids, designed so you can enjoy the adventure without any previous experience.
Along the way we pass caves, waterfalls and pools where, if conditions allow and the guide gives the go-ahead, you can take a swim. Some stretches are calm and others rush more powerfully over the rocks: an adrenaline-filled adventure, but with no serious risk.
You can choose between pick-up in Split (we take you there and back in an air-conditioned minivan) or making your own way (you get yourself to the meeting point and at the end we take you back to your car). Either way, full equipment, a certified guide and photos of the day are included.
With the transfer option we pick you up in Split by minivan; with the independent option you make your own way to the meeting point (we email it to you on confirmation).
We hand out wetsuits, helmets, life jackets and paddles. The guide explains the basic techniques and safety rules.
Boarding and the start of the descent. Gentle rapids at first so the group can find its rhythm.
The most fun stretches of the route, with natural caves and small waterfalls.
If conditions allow and the guide gives the go-ahead, a stop at a pool to cool off.
Equipment is handed back. If you came on your own we take you back to your car; with the transfer you return to Split.
Times are approximate and depend on the river's flow, the size of the group and the guide's breaks. The rafting itself lasts about 3-3.5 hours; with the transfer from Split, it takes up the whole morning.
We only charge a deposit in advance of 7 €/person to secure your spot. The balance (28 €/person) is paid on the day of the tour, in cash or by Revolut. That way, if the trip has to be cancelled due to bad weather, you get your money back straight away.
Up to 24 h before the tour: full refund of the deposit.
If we cancel due to sea conditions or the cave being closed: 100% refund or a free date change.
You pay the remaining 28 €/person on the day of the tour, in cash (EUR) or by Revolut.
The rafting is run by Rafting Cetina – Mirabella Tours. These are genuine reviews from their Google listing.
Great activity, excellent organisation and beautiful natural surroundings. At first we wondered whether it would be too risky, but it turned out to be perfectly fine, especially as you're in the care of a professional guide. Thank you, Petar!
Great experience! Our guide Andre was fantastic and our kids had a whale of a time, especially with the option to jump off the rocks and go under the waterfalls. Andre was friendly, professional and great with the children. Thanks for creating such lovely memories!
For a great price of 40 € per person they kit you out with a wetsuit, helmet, life jacket and booties, and take you to the start of the rafting. My partner and I had our own raft, and our guide Andre was with another group. The instructions for the rapids were clear and he knew the area really well. A cliff jump was included (optional), and he took photos that we received the same day. One of the highlights of our holiday.
Today's rafting was great, incredibly fun! My kids said it was the best part of their holiday in Croatia. Both guides were very helpful, friendly and fun. Thanks for everything!
A truly unforgettable experience, and I'm so grateful to have shared it with my husband. Rino's experience and guidance were invaluable; I felt completely safe and well looked after. Thanks also for the patience, the constant smile and the encouragement. As rafting first-timers we were a bit nervous at the start, but his reassuring presence helped us relax and enjoy it.

Moderate and accessible. It's the classic version of rafting on the Cetina: it requires a basic level of fitness and is suitable for beginners with no experience. The guide explains all the techniques and safety rules before you start.
Recommended. Life jackets are compulsory for the whole route, but being able to swim will give you more confidence. If you can't swim, let us know when booking.
6 years. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult; if a minor is not with their parents, written consent from their parents or guardians is required.
No. We include all the certified equipment: wetsuit, neoprene booties, helmet, life jacket, paddle and the raft. Just bring swimwear, a towel and dry clothes to change into.
It depends on the option you choose. With the pick-up in Split option, we collect you from a point in the city. With making your own way, you make your own way to the meeting point by the river (there's free parking and at the end we take you back to your car). Either way, we send you the exact GPS location and time in the confirmation email after booking.
Yes. It's one of the two rates: pick-up in Split includes air-conditioned minivan transport both ways. Just choose that option on the booking form.
Each raft takes 6-8 people with a guide. The day's whole group may be split across several rafts, but each one goes at its own pace.
From April to October. In high season (June to September) there are daily departures; in April, May and October mainly at weekends. Closed in winter due to low water levels.
If you came on your own, we take you back to your car; if you chose pick-up in Split, we take you back to the city. Photos of the day are included.
The guides are local Croatians certified by the IRF (International Rafting Federation) and speak English. Mario looks after you personally on WhatsApp before and after.
Book online paying only a 20% deposit of the total via Stripe (card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Revolut). The balance is paid on the day of the tour.
Rafting goes ahead in any weather: you're going to get wet anyway. It's only cancelled in case of thunderstorms or extreme water levels, in which case we refund your deposit in full or you can change the date for free.
With GetYourGuide, Viator or TripAdvisor you book through a platform, but the people who take you out are a local Croatian operator. If something changes, you end up opening support tickets that take ages. With us, everything is sorted with a single WhatsApp — directly with the people who run the tour.
